Fax Setup:

First, connect one end of the provided telephone line cord to your printer’s LINE port.

Next, connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a telephone wall jack.

Once the connection is made, press the Power button to turn on your printer.

Go to your printer’s touchscreen panel and tap the Fax or Setup menu.

Select the Fax header option and enter the text you want. It should contain your name, business, and 10-digit fax number.

Next, enable the Answer mode feature if you wish to accept the incoming faxes after a specific ring.

Set the dial type, ring type, and fax volume.

After configuring the fax settings, load some plain paper into the paper input tray and test the fax setup.

To run a fax test from the printer control panel, tap Fax Setup --> Tools --> Run Fax Test.

Sending Fax:

To begin with, place the original document you wish to fax on the scanner glass.
If necessary, you can also insert the original document into the ADF.
Go to the touchscreen control panel and touch Fax --> Send Now.
Enter the fax number using the touchpad and tap the Send button.
If you wish to change the fax settings, touch the Fax Settings icon and select the required settings before sending the fax.
